In the heart of Soho at the Shaftesbury Avenue end of Dean Street, St Anne’s is the venue for our first rehearsal of the week.
We generally have about 50 singers on a Monday. The room is large and bright with double French windows opening onto a private courtyard, allowing for lots of ventilation.
Afterwards we find a local hostelry for a drink and a chat, before heading off to Gerry's Club just across the road for a singsong round their lovely piano. This is a great bar, and a regular haunt of west-end performers. It’s open until about 3am, so don’t get too carried away if you have an early start the next day.
St Anne's church is accessed through a glass door at the Shaftesbury Avenue end of Dean Street. This group usually attracts around 50 singers.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet.
Entrance on Dean Street.
