We like each other so much in LCV that we even go on holidays together! We are very lucky to have our own in-house travel agent. We run a range of holidays to suit various tastes and budgets.

Summer Singing Holiday – Spetses

Every June since 2015 (apart from 2020 and 2021, of course) has seen many lucky members of LCV enjoying the choir’s amazing holiday on the gorgeous Greek island of Spetses.

With workshops in the morning, sunbathing and exploring in the afternoon, and lots of lovely meals in the evening, the holiday is really idyllic and the choir is now very well known around the island.

‍Skiing

Our spring skiing holiday has become increasingly popular. Whatever your skiing ability, come and join us on the slopes and then wind down with some well-deserved après ski.

If you’re a beginner, what better way to learn than with a bunch of LCV pals. We don’t tend to do much singing on these holidays, probably because we’re exhausted.

So far, we’ve been to Borovets in Bulgaria and Soldeu in Andorra.

Autumn weekender

In autumn we organise a weekend trip away to a beautiful, interesting and/or unusual location. Previous trips have included Lubljiana, Verona, Dublin, Valencia, Cologne and Rekjavik.

We stay in a variety of accommodation to suit all budgets, and aim to offer a range of activities to keep you entertained.

On these occasions, any singing tends to be more pop-up and ad hoc, rather than an organised event.
